Bridal Hair & Make-Up FAQs
1. Which brands of make-up do you use?
We use Clio Make-Up (for professional use only), Christian Dior, Benefit, Elizabeth Arden and Darphin
2. Does the bridal packages include false eye lashes, ampoules and accessories?
We provide false eye lashes if you need them. We use good make-up base as well as radiance serum to enhance the make-up staying power – Darphin or Ella Baché depending on your skin conditions. Hair accessories are available for loan, however, a deposit of RM100 is required and this will be refunded upon the return of the loan items.
3. Do I need to pay for trial make-up?
Trial make-up is FOC for all packages. Should you require additional trial make-up, we will charge RM200 per session.
4. What is a trial make-up and what happens during the session?
A trial make-up is extremely important for us to establish communication with the bride as we need to understand her personality, her requirements and her needs for the big day.
We will be doing the trial for the make-up and hair based on the designs of the bride’s selected gowns. Please allocate at least 3 hours for this session and it would be helpful to bring along a digital camera to capture the various looks tried on. A trial make-up is held at our salon and advanced appointment is appreciated.
5. What is house call charges?
This is an additional charge to cover transportation costs and toll charges to and from the wedding venue specified for the make-up and hairstyling sessions.
For venues within KL / PJ, we charge RM50 only with any chosen bridal packages. House call charges for venues outside of KL / PJ differs according to distance.
6. Do you accept oversea or outstation assignments?
Yes, we do. However, advanced booking is required. Accommodation, food and transportation costs are to be borne by the client.
7. What are the payment terms?
50% deposit is to be paid to secure the booking date. The balance of the payment is to be made 1 day before the wedding day or on the actual day itself.
8. Do you accept credit cards or cheques?
Yes, we accept VISA or MASTERCARD. All cheques should be made payable to “Beauty Haven Sdn Bhd”
